Colorado Awards $20 Million Community Transition Program To Behavioral Healthcare, Inc.
On August 28, 2014, the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) awarded Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. (BHI) a contract valued at $20 million to provide mental health services for the Money Follows the Individual (MFI) Community Transition Program. The initial contract period valued at $4.1 million started October 1, 2014 and runs through June 30, 2015, followed by four one-year renewal options.
CDHS released the request for proposals (RFP NCRW1406015OBH) on June 27, 2014, with proposals due by July 28, 2014. BHI was the only bidder. The RFP sought services for a new program . . .
