Colorado Office Of Behavioral Health Expands CORHIO Partnership To Bring HIE To More Jails
On October 23, 2020, it was announced that the Colorado Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) expanded its partnership with the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) to bring health information exchange (HIE) to six more municipal and county jails in the state. Currently 10 jails in several areas of the state are participating in a pilot project that integrates the jail with CORHIO's PatientCare 360® secure Web portal to help coordinate care for inmates and learn their medical histories and medications at intake.
