Over Half Of Colorado’s Medicaid Enrollment In Accountable Care Collaboratives
As of July 1, 2014, more than half of Colorado Medicaid beneficiaries were enrolled in an Accountable Care Collaborative (ACC), with an estimated enrollment totaling 662,361 out of a total of 1.0 million Medicaid beneficiaries. Via the ACCs, the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), which oversees the state Medicaid program, seeks to transform the Medicaid program into a system of better care for all its members and to reduce state Medicaid costs.
