The Colorado Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) is moving toward performance-based contracting in community corrections within three years. The long-term plan is under development. In the short-term, the DCJ intends to hire a consultant to establish a statewide baseline and framework by June 30, 2020 for implementing performance-based contracting. DCJ anticipates being ready to disperse the first funds in July 2022.
