The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is revising and updating the requirements for the Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) to give the program greater operational flexibility, especially regarding the use of interdisciplinary teams. CMS is also proposing changes to sanctions, enforcement actions, and terminations to strengthen its ability to hold PACE organizations accountable. This update is the first in a decade.
