CMS Approves Pennsylvania’s Home- & Community-Based Waiver Renewals
On June 28, 2017 the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved renewal of two Pennsylvania Medicaid home- and community-based services (HCBS) waivers for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who require an intermediate care facility (ICF) level of care. The Consolidated Waiver and the Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) Waiver, both section 1915 (c) waivers that provide services to individuals of any age with autism, individuals of any age with an intellectual disability, and individuals up to age eight with a developmental disability, were approved for a period of five years beginning July 1 . . .
