As of June 27, 2016, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved Medicaid statewide home-and community-based services (HCBS) setting transition plans (STPs) submitted by Kentucky and Ohio, which were granted initial approval on June 2, 2016, and Tennessee, which was granted full approval on February 1, 2016. All states were required to submit HCBS STPs by March 15, 2015, and all states met the deadline.
