Cigna’s Short-Term Disability Management Pilot Reduced Absenteeism In High-Risk Indviduals By 10%
On November 28, 2017, Cigna announced that a pilot of its new Absence Prediction and Prevention (AP&P) services to reduce short-term disability absences reduced absenteeism by high risk individuals by more than 10%. Absenteeism is defined as the number of days missed from work. As a result, Cigna is adding these services to its integrated health care and disability solutions program.
