Cigna Expands Telehealth Behavioral Health Services

On September 27, 2016, Cigna announced it was expanding its suite of telehealth behavioral and physical health services for Cigna members in 2017. Cigna is adding access to AMWELL telehealth services via American Well’s affiliated medical network Online Care Group, which recently launched telepsychiatry services. Cigna has an existing telehealth arrangement with MDLIVE, which also offers telepsychiatry services. Both AMWELL and MDLIVE provide telehealth services for a range of non-urgent physical health conditions.
