Online Behavioral Intervention For Caregivers Reduced Anxiety & Depression
Dementia caregivers who participated in a six-week online intervention focused on positive emotion skill-building had fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression. Overall, individuals who participated in the Life Enhancing Activities for Family Caregivers (LEAF) program showed greater decreases in depression and anxiety, with improved physical health, positive emotion, and positive aspects of caregiving than a control group not participating in the program.
