Caravan Health Launches Nationwide Collaborative ACO
On February 14, 2019, Caravan Health announced a new collaboration with community health systems across the country to launch a nationwide accountable care organization (ACO). The ACO includes primary care, specialty, and hospital provider organizations. The 132 participating health care systems serve more than 230,000 attributed Medicare beneficiaries. The goal is to help ACOs take on responsibility for financial losses by creating an ACO with enough scale to reduce risk for the individual participating health systems, hospitals, and physicians.
