CalOptima To Select Single Managed Behavioral Entity For Orange County Medicaid Beneficiaries By January 2017
CalOptima, the county-organized health system that serves Orange County, California, is planning to streamline its management of Medicaid behavioral health services by January 1, 2017. CalOptima intends to contract with a single managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) for its Medicaid plan and for its Medicare-Medicaid programs for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.
