California Developing New Performance Metrics For Public Community-Based Mental Health System
In December 2014, the California Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission (MHSOAC) began developing new performance metrics for the public community-based mental health system funded by the state’s Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) of 2004. By June 2015, the MHSOAC Performance Indicator Task Force anticipates testing and piloting new measures and plans to have the new measures ready for implementation by November 2015.
