By 2029, about 54% of middle-income adults aged 75 and older will lack funds for senior housing and supportive services. This figure is for those adults who would be able to sell their homes and use all available annual fiscal resources to pay for senior housing and supportive services. The percentage increases to 81% if these older adults kept their homes but commit the remainder of their annual fiscal resources to pay for senior housing and supportive services.
"Middle income" adults are defined as those who, in the year 2029, would have incomes of $25,001 to $74,298 . . .
