Arkansas Health Reform Task Force Recommends Continuation Of Medicaid Expansion & Study Of Medicaid Managed Long-Term Services

On December 17, 2015, the Arkansas Legislative Health Care Task Force recommended that the state continue its Medicaid expansion private option and endorsed the governor’s plan to implement alternative payment models for high-cost Medicaid populations. As part of that endorsement, the task force recommended more study of how to manage long-term services and supports (LTSS) for people with disabilities, without implementing capitated, full-risk managed care.
