On July 9, 2019, the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) proposed raising rates for provider organizations in 2020. Rates for home- and community-based service (HCBS) will be raised to account for an increase in the state minimum wage. Approximately 33,000 people receive DDD services.
