Arizona Medicaid Delays Procurement For RBHA Services
On May 6, 2020, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) postponed a planned procurement for services provided through Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RHBA) contracts, including services for people with serious mental illness (SMI). AHCCCS had been planning to release the Competitive Contract Expansion (CCE) on August 4, 2020, with implementation anticipated by October 1, 2021. The new projected release date for CCE procurement has not been determined.
