Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Ends Contract With Corizon, Now Managing Jail Medical Services In-House
On September 1, 2015, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania launched a new approach for county jail health care services in which county staff manage services delivered by a group of contractors. In launching this new approach, the county opted not to renew its contract with Corizon Health, Inc., which had managed the county jail health care services since September 1, 2013.
