AHIP & ACLI Propose Four Actions To Increase Consumer Purchase Of Long-Term Care Insurance

To improve consumer uptake of long-term care insurance (LTCI), America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) developed a four-point plan. The plan starts with a national education campaign focused on likelihood of needing LTC, and is followed by federal policy changes that allow tax incentives to promote workplace and retirement plan options that include LTCI.
