Adult ADHD Prevalence & Incidence Increased Between 2007 & 2016

Adult prevalence and incidence of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) increased between 2007 and 2016 among people who received care at Kaiser Permanente Northern California. Annual adult prevalence increased from 0.43% in 2007 to 0.96% in 2016. For context, annual prevalence among children increased from 2.96% in 2007 to 3.74% in 2016.
