ACF Launching EBP Clearinghouse For Family First Prevention Services Act

On June 22, 2018, the federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF) announced its decisions for developing a clearinghouse of evidence-based practices intended to reduce the number of children who enter out-of-home foster care. The clearinghouse is one of the strategies of the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2018 (Family First Act), which will allow states and tribes with approved Title IV-E plans to use Title IV-E foster care funds on time-limited preventive services for up to 12 months for at-risk children who can remain safely at home or in a kinship . . .
