For 2020, about 2% of eligible clinical professionals participating in the Medicare Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) earned a negative payment adjustment ranging from -0.01% to -5.00%. The remaining 98% of MIPS participants received a positive or neutral payment adjustment, ranging from 1.68% to 0.00%, based on their 2018 MIPS performance data.
