82% Of Older Adults In Sweden Were Continuously Exposed To Polypharmacy For 6 Months Or Longer & 74% For 12 Months Or Longer
Approximately 82% of Swedish adults aged 65 and older were continuously exposed to polypharmacy for six months or longer; 74% were exposed to polypharmacy for 12 months or longer. Polypharmacy is defined as five or more drugs to which an individual was exposed during a given month. Chronic polypharmacy is defined as exposure to polypharmacy for six months or longer.
