Behavioral Problems Likely In 52% Of Children In Foster Care & 79% Of Children In Residential Programs
About 52% of children in foster care, and about 79% of children in a group home or residential program, between the ages of 2 and 20, are at risk of a behavioral or emotional problem. Rates were lower among children in-home (29.4%), in informal kin care (35.3%), and in formal kin care (43.4%).
