Behavioral Health The Focus of 22% Of New York DSRIP Proposals
Behavioral health is the primary focus of 22% of the 258 projects proposed by 25 regional health care provider organization collaborations seeking to participate in the New York Medicaid Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program. A key goal of New York’s $6.4 billion DSRIP program is to reduce avoidable hospital use by 25%. The 25 regional health care collaborations are called Performing Provider Systems (PPS).
