30 State Medicaid Plans Now Reporting On Some HEDIS Measures For Adults

During federal fiscal year 2013, a total of 30 state Medicaid programs voluntarily reported outcomes on some performance measures in the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures maintained by National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Across the 30 states, the Medicaid programs reported on a median of 16.5 of the 26 Medicaid Adult Core Set of quality of care measures; the number of measures reported ranged from seven by Illinois to 24 by New York.
