Nearly 10% Of Medicare Advantage Plans Offering Expanded Supplemental Benefits In 2020
For the 2020 Medicare Advantage plan year, 364 (9.7%) of the 3,734 plans that are available to Medicare beneficiaries are offering one or more expanded supplemental benefits. About 3.7% of plans (116 plans) are offering more than one supplemental benefit. During the 2019 plan year, no plans offered more than one expanded supplemental benefit.
