11% Of School-Aged Children With ADHD Had Unmet Treatment Need

About 11.6% of school-aged children in the United States diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) had unmet treatment need. Children from non-English-speaking households were less likely to report unmet need compared to those from primarily-English speaking households.

For about 44.3% of children with ADHD the family experienced adverse financial impact due to the child’s ADHD.
