81% Of Women Who Experience Domestic Violence Also Have A Chronic Health Condition; Compared To 70% In The U.S. Population
Eight in ten (81%) of women who experience intimate partner violence also have a chronic health condition, according to a nationwide survey conducted by the Verizon Foundation & MORE Magazine. Among the general population of women over age 21, 70% have a chronic health condition.
