Size Matters In Executive Compensation
Today, we wrapped up The 2018 OPEN MINDS Executive Leadership Retreat. Each year, as part of our work in leadership we conduct an annual survey focused on executive compensation and retention. The big takeaway this year – size matters.
We found that while there were some variations in compensation by specialty sector, the differences in chief executive officer (CEO) compensation are dependent on an organization's revenue. Median 2018 CEO compensation in the four specialties in our survey (behavioral health, LTSS/IDD, child and family services, and primary care) was $135,000.
