Greetings from historic Gettysburg where today we kicked off our 2014 Executive Leadership Retreat.  Our opening plenary session, The Leader’s Challenge In Making Your Strategic Plan A Reality: The State Of Change & Advice From CEOs Who Have Been There, focused on change.  In most organizations, the leader is the pivot point for change – either the catalyst for, or an impediment to that change. But, change is slow to come to most behavioral health and social service organizations. The question is, what are the challenges for leaders in the field to “make things happen” – and the leadership solutions needed . . .
