New Analysis Finds More Than Half Of Foster Children Enrolled In Medicaid Managed Care

The proportion of Medicaid beneficiaries enrolled in managed care has been on the increase. From 49.8% of Medicaid beneficiaries enrolled in managed care in 2011, to 66% in 2014; and $27 billion in managed care spending in 2004 to $107 billion in 2014, states have increasingly chosen to use managed care models for the financing and delivery of health benefits.
