Last week’s edition of our news covered the contract awards for Medicaid long-term services and supports (LTSS) in Virginia – Virginia Awards Six Medicaid MLTSS Contracts For Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus. On February 8, the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services awarded six contracts for Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus (CCC Plus), the state’s Medicaid managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) program. The contracts were awarded to Aetna Better Health of Virginia, Anthem HealthKeepers Plus, Magellan Complete Care of Virginia, Optima Health, United Healthcare, and Virginia Premier Health Plan.
