Mystery Shopping Strikes A Nerve

I was pleased when I read a June 26th article in the New York Times (U.S. Plans Stealth Survey on Access to Doctors) describing the Obama Administration’s plan to use mystery shopping techniques to evaluate Medicaid and Medicare patients’ access to doctors. At last, I thought, a more consumer-focused approach!
But, it seems I got my hopes up too soon. On June 29 . . .
