Performance Metrics Matter

I thought I would launch our series on organizational performance optimization with this food for thought from Albert Einstein. In reality, I would like to use it as a disclaimer. I agree that not all "results" and "performance" and "attributes" can be quantified. That said, health and human service organizations (whether payers, government agencies, service provider organizations, or care management organizations) cannot operate in the absence of performance metrics.
"Performance" is not something that matters in a vacuum. Performance is contextual and relative . . .
