Virginia Behavioral Health Department To Work With Cerner For Better Health Care
The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) recently selected Cerner to provide electronic health record (EHR) services at its 13 state facilities. DBHDS anticipates that the implementation of Cerner’s EHR platform will help modernize the state’s mental health hospitals’ technology, as well as improve the quality of the health care Virginia offers to its most vulnerable citizens.
