National Accountable Care Organization Launched By United Health Group

UnitedHealth Group announced that it will commit more resources to a value-based care by introducing anationally branded accountable care organization (ACO). The program aims to appeal to self-funded employers with 100 or more workers across 15 United states markets, and will guide health plan enrollees to better outcome/cost provider choices. The program will be available in 2017.
