Traveling Clinic To Serve Appalachian Children With Autism

A group of Virginia Tech graduate students and faculty are working to convert a recreational vehicle into a traveling clinic that will be used to serve children with autism living in the Central Appalachian region of Virginia. The rural area, which is about 115 miles away from the university’s location in Blacksburg, will be visited several times a week by participants operating the mobile clinic.
