San Diego’s George G. Glenner Town Square To Promote Reminiscence Therapy

George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers will sponsor a 1950's-era setting to prompt reminiscence therapy. The organization hopes that the fake downtown of 24 buildings and 12 storefronts will help engage memories and spark conversations for those consumers aged 80 and over. This "dementia village" will tap into the most stable memories of this population and help them remember their pasts.
