Teladoc Expands Virtual Care Services Into Canada
Telemedicine provider organization Teladoc recently announced the launch of its services into Canada. The move allows consumers in Canada to access virtual care anywhere in Canada or the United States.
Specifically, the new telemedicine services in Canada will connect health care consumers with minor conditions, such as allergies, cold and flu, and pink eye with clinical professionals through virtual appointments through the use of mobile devices and the internet. By allowing consumers to be diagnosed and prescribed through virtual appointments, access to care will be significantly increased for Canadian citizens.
