Health care technology organization Tabula Rasa Healthcare (TRHC) recently acquired Cognify. The acquisition will bolster TRHC’s presence in the realms of federal program of all-inclusive care for the elderly (PACE) and managed long-term care (MLTC).
As part of the transaction, former Cognify CEO Mace Wolf will now serve as CEO of Cognify-Mediture, the electronic health record (EHR) software solutions unit of TRHC that resulted from TRHC’s acquisition of Mediture in September. TRHC leadership remarked that the acquisition will increase its ability to develop scalable solutions to meet the needs of PACE and other at-risk payers, such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plans.
