Spotts Appointed To Pennsylvania PCMH Advisory Council
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services announced that Douglas A. Spotts, MD, FAAFP, has been appointed to the state’s first Patient-Centered Medical Home Advisory Council. Spotts serves as the current board chair of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) and was president for the 2014-2015 leadership year. Prior to serving as president, Spotts served as chair for the planning commission for the PAFP. Spotts received his bachelor’s degree at Juniata College and medical degree at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.
