Southcoast Behavioral Health Appoints Michael Liebowitz New Medical Director

Southcoast Behavioral Health recently appointed Michael Liebowitz as its new chief medical director and medical officer. In his new position, Dr. Liebowitz will be responsible for the clinical management of consumers provided by the hospital’s patient care staff.

Previously, Mr. Liebowitz served as the chief of psychiatry at High Point Hospital in Middleboro, Massachusetts. Dr. Liebowitz received his medical degree at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and is certified by both the American Board of Psychiatry and neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
