Behavioral health services provider Rosecrance recently earned Aetna’s Institute of Quality designation. Aetna’s Institutes are a network of high-performing hospitals, clinics, and health care facilities that offer specialized care.
Some of the requirements for meeting Aetna’s standards include commitment to continuous improvements, cost efficiency, and excellence in care. Additionally, Aetna requires offerings such as daily access to care, and the involvement of family and significant others in treatment. Aetna currently recognizes Institutes of Quality for behavioral, bariatric, cardiac, and orthopedic services.
With more than 40 locations in Chicago and Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa, Rosecrance offers comprehensive addiction services for adolescents and adults, including prevention, intervention, detoxification, inpatient and outpatient treatment, experiential therapies, dual-diagnosis care, and family education. Aetna is one of the nation’s leading diversified health care benefits companies, serving an estimated 44.6 million people with information and resources to help them make better informed decisions about their health care.
