Rosalind Franklin University Announces New Brain Science Institute: Institute & Supporting Research Centers To Be Located In University’s New Innovation & Research Park

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science recently announced it will be creating a new Brain Science Institute and three supporting research centers. The new institute and centers will all be located at the university’s Innovation and Research Park.

Focuses of study at the new facilities will include Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, anxiety disorders and brain stem cell research. The university anticipates that the centers will help to create an environment that encourages collaboration, with the goal of accelerating the development of needed diagnostics and therapeutics.
