ProMedica rebranded its HCR ManorCare division as ProMedica Senior Care. ProMedica had acquired HRC ManorCare in 2018. Over the next 18 months, facility names and physical sign changes will be rolled out at ProMedica Senior Care facilities across the nation. The brands that will be changing include Heartland, ManorCare, and Arden Courts.
Currently, non-profit ProMedica is comprised of three distinct, but aligned care divisions: Senior Care, Provider and Clinical Services, and Paramount Health Plan. By rebranding, the goal is to bring its diverse health and well-being services closer together to support healthy aging and cultivate innovation to address consumer social determinants of health.
The organization is based in Toledo, Ohio, and serves communities in 28 states; it operates 13 hospitals, and a mix of more than 330 long-term care and rehabilitation facilities and hospice and home health care agencies. Systemwide, ProMedica offers acute and ambulatory care, an insurance company with a dental plan, and post-acute and academic business lines
