Indian pharmaceutical company Lupin recently launched a new chatbot that dispenses medical information for consumers. The chatbot—titled ANYA, or “inexhaustible”—seeks to help alleviate health concerns and uncertainty for individuals as they manage diseases.
According to statements from Lupin leadership, the announcement exemplifies Lupin’s continued exploration of ways to integrate technology to support effective consumer care. In addition to assisting with disease-management, Lupin hopes that ANYA will help to dispel some myths associated with certain therapies and treatments, as well as increase outreach and access to better care in rural markets.
