Kitsap Mental Health Services (Kitsap) the Bremerton Housing Authority (BHA), and the City of Bremerton are partnering to construct a new apartment complex that will address Kitsap’s increasing populations of individuals who are homeless. The new complex—Pendleton Place—will be located in Bremerton, Washington.
The 74-unit support housing complex will contain a combination of studio and one-bedroom apartments, which will be prioritized for individuals who are Kitsap residents, experiencing chronic homelessness, and living with severe and persistent mental illness, addiction disorder, or other disabling conditions. The apartments will be fully staffed 24-7, 365 days a year, and will provide residents with services provided by Kitsap and other community partners that provide mental health and addiction disorder treatment services, primary care services, employments services, and various life skills training services.
Kitsap Mental Health Services is a private, non-profit community mental health center that provides both mental health and behavioral health care services to children, families, adults, and seniors in Kitsap County, Washington. Bremerton Housing Authority is a public corporation with the purpose of providing affordable housing opportunities for people with limited financial means.
