Optum’s Venture Capital Arm Joins In $12 Million Round For In-Home Lab Testing Startup
Optum’s venture capital (VC) arm recently joined a $12 million round of funding for an in-home lab testing startup, LetsGetChecked. Investment was led by Optum ventures and Qiming Venture Partners.
The startup allows consumers to both order lab tests and submit samples from their home. Consumers can request test kits for a range of conditions, which are sent out by the company’s network of lab partners. LetsGetChecked plans on putting the investment funds towards product developmental and staff expansion.
