NYAPRS Peer Bridger Partnership Formed To Improve Health Outcomes For Nassau Queens Performing Provider System
Catholic Health Services of Long Island’s (CHSLI) St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and the New York Association of Psychiatric Services (NYAPRS) recently announced a partnership which seeks to improve behavioral health outcomes through the Peer Bridger Program. CHSLI is a partner of the Nassau Queens Performing Provider System (NQP).
The program will match consumers with behavioral health issues and frequent emergency room visits to St. John’s with NYAPRS Peer Bridgers, who are individuals who have been through a recovery process before and offer support and advice to aid others in the recovery process.
